About me
I’m Vanina Pappacena — a designer by training, with a Master’s degree in Interactive Design from the University of Buenos Aires. My practice centers on designing experiences and processes that foster meaningful relationships between people, technology, and the environment.
With over eight years of experience across both public and private sectors, I approach design with strong contextual awareness and a systemic mindset. I’ve worked with institutions, companies, and communities to co-create strategies that respond to complex and evolving challenges.
I see design processes as living organisms — always shifting, growing, and requiring continuous reflection. I believe in creating workspaces where dialogue between the human, the machinic, and the natural is not only possible but essential.
Project-oriented thinking, biology, and philosophy deeply influence my approach. I take time to reflect on what has been done, what has been learned, and what could be reimagined — because that pause, too, is part of the design.
Thesis defence
My master’s thesis — graded with distinction — explored design in dialogue with ethics, reflecting on the place of technical objects in our culture and how they influence social, symbolic, and environmental dynamics.
